On the afternoon of December 12, 2025, Hoang Thi Minh Hanh and Nguyen Thi Ngoc competed in the women's 400-meter final at the 33rd SEA Games.

In this event, athlete Nguyen Thi Ngoc excellently completed the race in 52.74 seconds. She had a good start, consistently led, and accelerated strongly to cross the finish line first, winning the gold medal.
