On December 13th, through monitoring online activities, the Internal Political Security Department of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Police discovered a case of posting unverified information on social media related to the upcoming Thai Nguyen 2025 Four-Team Football Tournament. The post attracted many interactions and generated negative public opinion.

Ms. PKC presented the case to the police.

The Internal Political Security Department of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Police has verified and clarified the matter and summoned Ms. PKC, born in 1981, registered as a permanent resident in Ung Hoa commune, Hanoi city, who posted the content, for questioning.

At the police station, Ms. PKC admitted that on the evening of December 12, 2025, she was frustrated because she had not yet been able to obtain tickets to watch the matches of the 2025 Thai Nguyen Four-Team Football Tournament, which was scheduled to be held at Thai Nguyen Stadium, so she posted an article on social media.

Ms. PKC acknowledged that the content of her published article was false and negatively impacted the image of Thai Nguyen province in general and the organization of the Thai Nguyen 2025 Four-Team Football Tournament in particular. She voluntarily deleted the published content, provided a statement detailing her violation, and pledged not to repeat the offense.

Currently, the Internal Political Security Department of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Police is consolidating the case file to handle the matter in accordance with the law.
