| The delegates attending the meeting were given guidance on several aspects of the project implementation. |
The project, implemented in Pac Nghe village, Cho Ra commune, is one of three locations nationwide, and will subsequently be expanded in stages.
At this meeting, representatives from the Provincial Women's Union emphasized the increasingly complex context of climate change, which directly impacts the lives of women and children, especially in mountainous areas where heavy rains, flash floods, and landslides frequently occur. Therefore, the project aims to enhance the capacity of grassroots Women's Union officials, expand models of women's participation in environmental protection, waste sorting, energy conservation, tree planting, and improve disaster response skills.
The delegates focused their discussions on key aspects of the project, such as: developing training programs for Women's Union officials at all levels; developing a core network of environmental communicators; supporting green livelihood models; enhancing community communication capacity; and promoting women's participation in environmental protection activities.
Many opinions suggested strengthening coordination between the Association and the provincial government, specialized agencies, and international organizations to effectively mobilize resources for project implementation. At the same time, it was emphasized that the project's implementation will make a practical contribution to building a safe, green, clean, and beautiful community.
