The decision to grant amnesty to 34 prisoners has been announced.

On June 1st, at Detention Centers No. 1 and No. 2, Thai Nguyen Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce the President's decision to grant amnesty to 34 inmates who met the eligibility criteria.

Colonel Duong Dinh Thanh, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, presented the amnesty decision to inmates undergoing rehabilitation at Detention Center No. 1.

Accordingly, 34 inmates serving sentences at Detention Centers No. 1 and No. 2 were granted amnesty and returned to their families and society. These inmates met the following conditions: actively and diligently reforming; complying well with regulations; ensuring the required sentence duration; and completing any supplementary penalties.

The leaders of the Provincial People's Procuracy presented the amnesty decisions to the prisoners.

At the ceremony, leaders of the Provincial Police, the Provincial People's Court, and the Provincial People's Procuratorate presented decisions and certificates of amnesty to 34 prisoners.

To ensure the rights of those granted amnesty, Detention Centers No. 1 and No. 2 have fully implemented all regulations and policies, such as providing transportation allowances, meal allowances, identity cards, and necessary documents.
