Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Mr. Pham Van Bay, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Yen province; Mr. Phan Dac Hoan, Vice Chairman in charge of the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations and Head of the competition organizing committee; Mr. Stanislav Makhnev, Deputy Consul General of the Russian Federation in Da Nang City; and a large number of students from Phu Yen Vocational College.

Speaking at the competition, Dr. Dang Van Lai, Principal of Phu Yen Vocational College and Vice President of the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association of the province, said that over 75 years of formation and development, the relationship between Vietnam and the Russian Federation has been continuously strengthened and elevated, from a good traditional friendship to a comprehensive strategic partnership.
The Russian Federation has provided Vietnam with immense support in its struggle for national liberation, national construction, and defense; it is also an important partner of Vietnam in many fields such as education , training, science, technology, energy, culture, and people-to-people exchanges.

The competition attracted the participation of four teams from Phu Yen Vocational College. The teams successively went through the following rounds: presentations on the friendly relations between Vietnam and the Russian Federation; a Vietnamese-Russian fashion show; and a knowledge test on the history of relations between the two countries.
Through this competition, the Organizing Committee hopes to contribute to the widespread dissemination of the long-standing, loyal, and steadfast friendship between the people of Vietnam and the Russian Federation; at the same time, to foster close ties between the younger generations of the two countries, promote people-to-people diplomacy, and make a positive contribution to the cause of peace, cooperation, and sustainable development.
