The photo exhibition "Proud of the Hon Khoai Uprising" is a politically and culturally significant activity in the series of events commemorating the 85th anniversary of the Hon Khoai Uprising and the Revolutionary Tradition Day of the Party Committee, army and people of Ca Mau province (December 13, 1940 - December 13, 2025); commemorating the 65th anniversary of the sister-province relationship between Ca Mau and Ninh Binh provinces (1960 - 2025); contributing to the dissemination and education of patriotic traditions, national pride, and inspiring the will and aspirations for progress among all strata of the people, especially the younger generation.
The works displayed at the exhibition deeply reflect the Hon Khoai Uprising – a historical milestone of the Ca Mau revolutionary movement; and depict the Hon Khoai Relic – a national historical and cultural relic. In addition, the works also record the outstanding achievements of the province in the fields of economy , culture, society, national defense and security; vividly reflect the working and productive lives of the people, contributing to the education of patriotic traditions, fostering pride and a sense of responsibility towards the homeland and the country.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang presents the first prize of the current affairs and art photography contest to author Thanh Minh.
The photo contest commemorating the 85th anniversary of the revolutionary tradition of Ca Mau province (December 13, 1940 - December 13, 2025) attracted more than 850 entries from 39 professional and amateur photographers from within and outside the province. The works demonstrated the positive response, sense of responsibility, and dedication of artists and photographers to the province's important political and cultural activities. Through a rigorous and objective judging process, the Jury selected 11 outstanding works for awards and also chose 261 representative works for exhibition.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang presented the first prize of the writing contest commemorating the 85th anniversary of the revolutionary tradition of the Party Committee, army and people of Ca Mau province to Comrade Nguyen Truong Minh, Youth Union of Hon Khoai Border Guard Station.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes for the writing contest commemorating the 85th anniversary of the revolutionary tradition of the Party Committee, military, and people of Ca Mau province. The contest, held from December 2nd to 7th, 2025, attracted over 8,000 entries from youth union members, students, officials, civil servants, and members of the armed forces both within and outside the province.
For the group category, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the Youth Union of the Provincial Police; the second prize went to the An Xuyen Ward Youth Union and the Gia Rai High School Youth Union, which had the highest number of entries and were commended and rewarded by the Organizing Committee. For the individual category, the Organizing Committee awarded 11 prizes; the first prize went to Comrade Nguyen Truong Minh, from the Hon Khoai Border Guard Post Youth Union.
