Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lu Quang Ngoi visits and presents gifts to former provincial leaders from various periods.

On the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the revolutionary tradition of the Party Committee, army, and people of Ca Mau province (December 13, 1940 - December 13, 2025), the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Lu Quang Ngoi, visited and presented gifts to former provincial leaders from various periods who are currently living outside the province. This activity demonstrates gratitude for the contributions of generations of leaders in the construction and development of the province.

The delegation visited former Provincial Party Secretary Bui Quang Huy (currently residing in Tra Vinh ward, Vinh Long province) and former Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Tuan Khanh (currently residing in Ben Thanh ward, Ho Chi Minh City).

At each location visited, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lu Quang Ngoi cordially inquired about the health and well-being of the former provincial leaders; and at the same time, expressed his gratitude for the contributions of the former provincial leaders to the development of Ca Mau province.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Lu Quang Ngoi, also informed the former leaders about the situation regarding the merger of Ca Mau province according to the central government's policy. To date, the two-tiered local government apparatus has been operating stably. The new Ca Mau province has expanded its development space and leveraged its existing strengths. Currently, the central government is also investing in key projects in Ca Mau, which will serve as a leverage and create favorable conditions for the locality to develop more strongly in the future.

Former provincial leaders expressed their gratitude for the attention shown by the current leaders of Ca Mau province on the occasion of the Revolutionary Tradition Day of the Party Committee, military, and people of Ca Mau province. They also stated their continued interest in the development of Ca Mau province, especially in the current period following the merger. With the province's existing advantages and the decisive and insightful leadership of the current leaders, the former leaders expressed their confidence that Ca Mau will develop more rapidly and sustainably in the future.
