The Hai Phong City Red Cross Society organized a program to visit, donate gifts, and provide medical examinations in Son La province, with a total value of approximately 200 million VND.

People received free medical examinations and medication.

From December 11th to 13th, the Hai Phong City Red Cross Society, in coordination with the Son La Provincial Red Cross Society and the Son La Provincial Traditional Medicine Hospital, organized a program to donate warm clothing to students and provide free medical examinations and medicine to disadvantaged people in Son La province.

Approximately 200 people from disadvantaged backgrounds and families receiving government assistance participated in the program.

At the Muoi Noi Commune Cultural Center, the delegation visited and presented 961 warm jackets to students of Ban Nam Primary and Secondary School. Doctors and nurses provided free health check-ups, consultations, and medicine to 250 people in difficult circumstances, families of policy beneficiaries, and victims of Agent Orange. The total value of the program was approximately 200 million VND.

According to the plan, at the end of December, the Hai Phong City Red Cross will organize a program to donate warm clothes to disadvantaged students in Dien Bien province, with a total value of over 60 million VND.

The funding was raised by the Hai Phong City Red Cross Society through donations from businesses and philanthropists.
