At the ceremony, Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung presented certificates of merit to 10 localities with outstanding achievements, including the Departments of Science and Technology of: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Can Tho, Hai Phong, Hue and the provinces of Hung Yen, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, and Khanh Hoa.
These are the localities that have demonstrated a proactive role in creating an environment for innovation and creativity, effectively implementing models and initiatives that are suitable to their practical conditions.

The honored localities have all focused on investing in infrastructure, developing startup support services, promoting ecosystem connectivity, and spreading the spirit of innovation to the community, especially the younger generation. These efforts have created a clear socio -economic impact, contributing to enhancing the competitiveness of each locality and making a positive contribution to the national innovative startup ecosystem. The selection process was objective and transparent, based on official reports from the Departments of Science and Technology and the results of evaluations according to a set of practical criteria.
Also within the framework of the TECHFEST Vietnam 2025 Opening Ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes for the third season of the Data for Life competition – an innovation platform focusing on leveraging data and digital technology to solve social problems. The winning teams received commemorative plaques and vouchers to participate in the Innovation Center, recognizing their efforts in applying data to solve practical problems.
Accordingly, the first prize went to the Cheppy team; the two second prizes were awarded to the Intron and Factorem teams; and the third prizes went to the Viditec, Thăng Hoa, and Landbase teams.

Data for Life is a competition aimed at students, startups, and technology teams, encouraging the development of solutions based on big data, artificial intelligence, and intelligent analytics in fields such as healthcare, environment, education, and sustainable development. Through the competition, the organizers hope to effectively connect data resources with the innovation community, promoting highly applicable ideas that create a positive and lasting impact on society.
According to the Organizing Committee, TECHFEST Vietnam 2025 is expected to become a milestone for the National Strategy on Creative Entrepreneurship, contributing to strongly promoting the spirit of innovation throughout society, leveraging the power of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation to create breakthrough development, in line with the spirit of Resolution 57-NQ/TW.
The highlight of this year's TECHFEST is the organization of the Opening Ceremony and many key activities in an open space in the heart of the capital, connected with technology demonstration and experience zones. Through this, scientific and technological achievements and innovations are brought closer to the people, affirming the leading role of the entire society in the national creative entrepreneurship process.
