On December 14th, at the Hoan Long Commune Health Station, Vietnam Eye Hospital - Hanoi, in coordination with the local authorities, organized a program to provide free eye examinations, consultations, and medication for nearly 160 elderly people in the area.

During the program, elderly participants received vision tests, fundoscopy, visual function assessments, and screening for common eye diseases such as cataracts and glaucoma; they also received free eye supplements. Doctors provided direct advice and guidance on nutrition, eye hygiene, and proper rest; analyzed lifestyle habits affecting vision; and explained how to recognize early signs of abnormalities so they could proactively seek timely examination and treatment.
This practical activity contributes to raising awareness and helps the elderly proactively care for and protect their eyesight, reducing the risk of developing eye diseases...
