According to the traditional customs of the M'nong people, a person's life will go through many health celebration ceremonies (called the first, second, third health ceremony, etc.) with no age limit, but rather according to the number of times they are held.
However, the 7th health blessing ceremony is the most important, equivalent to a major longevity celebration when grandparents or parents reach the age of 70.

Traditionally, the celebration of parents' longevity was usually organized by the eldest daughter. However, nowadays, to show filial piety, all children can participate in celebrating their parents' longevity. The ceremony is usually held after the farming season has ended, when all agricultural work has been completed.

The longevity celebration ceremony is conducted through three main rituals with the participation of the shaman, family, and village community: the ritual of inviting the village gods (Yang) to attend the longevity celebration; the offering to Yang and ancestors; and the ritual of wishing good health and giving gifts to children and grandchildren in the family.
