Lieutenant General Le Ngoc Hai visited and encouraged three disadvantaged families whose houses were completely destroyed in the recent floods. These included: the family of Mr. Tran Huu Cuong (Thach Tuan 2 village, Hoa Xuan commune), whose house was rebuilt by the 682nd Coastal Missile Brigade, 4th Naval Region Command; the family of Mr. Bui Xuan Hien (Thach Tuan 2 village, Hoa Xuan commune), whose house was rebuilt by the 572nd Brigade; and the family of Ms. Vo Thi Sieng (Phu Luong neighborhood, Dong Hoa ward), whose house was directly rebuilt by the 5th Military Region Staff.

Visiting the families, Lieutenant General Le Ngoc Hai, Commander of Military Region 5, cordially inquired about their well-being and encouraged family members to overcome difficulties and focus on production while the soldiers were urgently constructing new houses.

At the construction sites, Lieutenant General Le Ngoc Hai emphasized: “Up to now, units of the Military Region as well as units under the Ministry of National Defense have simultaneously deployed construction. Some houses have already had mezzanines built according to storm-resistant standards. The armed forces of the Military Region strive to complete at least 50% of the houses assigned by the local authorities by January 15th, ensuring that people have homes as soon as possible.”

The Commander of the Military Region highly appreciated the proactive spirit, discipline, and responsibility of the officers and soldiers in carrying out their duties. He also requested that the units continue to implement the tasks on schedule in accordance with the spirit of "Quang Trung's swift action," determined to complete each item on time, ensuring technical and aesthetic standards, and handing over the houses to the people before the Lunar New Year.
