“Nguyen Kim Vang Primary School is named after the heroic martyr Nguyen Kim Vang of the People's Public Security Force – a soldier who dedicated his youth and life to peace and national reunification. I would like to thank the local leaders for naming schools after these two heroes, so that today's young generation can continue to preserve and promote historical traditions,” said Ms. Phung Nhat Ha.

“The scholarship fund is named ‘Peace,’ because peace is the aspiration of humanity and of the Vietnamese people, which generations of our ancestors fought and sacrificed to protect and preserve. The fund is managed and maintained by the school, with regular contributions from her family and other benefactors; contributing to encouraging the learning spirit of students, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds,” Ms. Phung Nhat Ha shared.

The recent floods directly affected 12 out of 23 neighborhoods in the ward, causing more than 2,200 houses to be deeply submerged, with many areas completely isolated; transportation systems were cut off, and infrastructure suffered heavy damage. The lives of the people in general, and the families of the students in particular, have faced countless difficulties.

"We brought small gifts: backpacks, school bags, and school supplies… for teachers to give to students, helping them overcome difficulties, study with peace of mind, and achieve many good results in the new year," said Ms. Phung Nhat Ha.

Comrade Nguyen Le Vi Phuc, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Binh Kien Ward, presented a letter of gratitude to Ms. Phung Nhat Ha and other benefactors for their support to disadvantaged people and students in the ward.
