Implementing the "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" movement, the entire province supported the construction and repair of 924 solidarity houses, with a total budget of over 73 billion VND.
According to Le Thi Cam Tu, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh province, in 2025, the movement "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas" will be actively responded to and participated in by all strata of people in the province with a high sense of responsibility, making an important contribution to socio-economic development and improving people's lives.
To promote the role of gathering, uniting, and mobilizing the people, in 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province will strengthen propaganda work, create social consensus, and awaken the spirit of voluntarism, joint efforts, and solidarity of the people in building new rural areas. Through this, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province have mobilized the people to voluntarily donate more than 213,000 m² of land, contribute over 4,347 days of labor, and more than 32 billion VND to repair and upgrade more than 21,750 m of rural roads.
In addition, 795 new rural construction projects were implemented in various fields such as transportation, environment, irrigation, electricity, water, etc. The projects were implemented ensuring quality, basically completed on schedule, meeting the requirements of serving the production and daily life of the people, gradually changing the face of rural areas, and contributing to improving the material and spiritual lives of the people.
Alongside the new rural development program, the "Joining Hands to Eliminate Temporary and Dilapidated Houses" movement continues to be implemented vigorously and comprehensively by the Fatherland Front at all levels, clearly demonstrating the spirit of mutual support and ensuring "no one is left behind." Through the mobilization of social resources, the entire province has supported the construction and repair of 924 solidarity houses, with a total cost of over 73 billion VND. Of these, 774 houses were newly built and 150 were repaired for poor and near-poor households, helping many families to have stable housing, feel secure in their work and production, and rise out of poverty sustainably.
In response to the complex and devastating natural disasters affecting many provinces and cities nationwide, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province promptly issued an appeal for support for the people in the disaster-affected areas. As a result, organizations, businesses, officials, and people in the province jointly contributed over 16 billion VND, demonstrating a deep sense of responsibility and compassion.
Through emulation movements and practical social welfare activities, the core role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels continues to be affirmed; the great national unity bloc is increasingly consolidated, creating a solid foundation for the province to successfully achieve its socio-economic development goals in the coming period.
