Tay Ninh implements plan to develop private economy.

By 2030, Tay Ninh province aims to have over 57,000 businesses, with approximately 17 operating businesses per 1,000 people.

The People's Committee of Tay Ninh province has outlined plans and objectives to implement Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo ; Resolutions No. 138/NQ-CP and No. 139/NQ-CP of the Government; and Program No. 14-CTr/TU of the Provincial Party Committee on the development of the private economy in the province.

According to Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Han, the overarching goal of the plan is to make the private sector one of the most important driving forces of the province's economy , playing a pioneering role in innovation, scientific and technological development, and digital transformation, contributing to promoting rapid and sustainable socio-economic development.

By 2030, Tay Ninh province aims to have over 57,000 businesses, with approximately 17 operating businesses per 1,000 people; forming a number of large enterprises participating in domestic, ASEAN, and global value chains. The average annual growth rate of the private sector is expected to be around 12%, contributing over 60% to the province's GRDP and over 35% to its total state budget revenue; attracting and providing employment for approximately 84% of the workforce.

The goal is to bring the technological level, innovation capacity, and digital transformation of the province's private economic sector into the top 10 provinces/cities nationwide; to have over 40% of private enterprises engaged in innovative activities and applying high technology; and to maintain its position in the top 10 in terms of economic scale nationwide.

By 2045, the vision for Tay Ninh province is for its private sector to develop rapidly, strongly, and sustainably, playing a leading role in socio-economic development; private enterprises will have high competitiveness and participate deeply in regional and global production and supply chains. The province aims to have over 230,000 enterprises, contributing over 60% of the province's GRDP.

The plan also emphasizes facilitating private sector access to resources such as land, capital, and high-quality human resources; diversifying capital mobilization channels; promoting science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, and green transformation; strengthening linkages between private enterprises and state-owned enterprises and FDI enterprises; providing substantive support to small, micro, and household businesses; and forming and developing medium and large enterprises and private economic groups.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned specific tasks to each department, sector, and locality, and requested that the implementation be serious, synchronized, timely, and effective; regularly inspect, supervise, evaluate, and promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles, creating a favorable investment and business environment for the strong development of the private economy in the new period.
