Attending the commemoration ceremony on behalf of the Central Committee of the Association was Dr. To Hoai Nam, Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises.
Attending the conference on provincial leadership was Mr. Nguyen Nam Dinh, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council. Also present were representatives from relevant departments and agencies, the Provincial Business Association, the Ha Tinh Provincial Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, and outstanding branches and members at the grassroots level.
Providing effective support and assistance to businesses.

Over its 20 years of formation and development, the Nghe An Provincial Association of Small and Medium Enterprises has always been closely linked to the implementation of the political tasks of the country and the province. Over four terms, from an initial 500 members, the Association has continuously grown and now comprises nearly 8,000 members, representing the vast majority of businesses and entrepreneurs in the province; with 19 grassroots branches.

Against the backdrop of constantly changing global, national, and provincial economies , the Association has undertaken activities to update knowledge, innovate thinking, and enhance management capacity for businesses. Specifically, the Association has organized nearly 200 training courses and workshops for nearly 10,000 participants; focused on supporting businesses in accessing credit sources, preferential loan packages, trade promotion activities, and digital transformation; and promoted and introduced handicraft products, OCOP products, etc.

On the other hand, through policy dialogues and meetings between entrepreneurs and provincial leaders, the Association effectively acts as a bridge for the business community to resolve difficulties related to administrative procedures in the fields of land, natural resources and environment, and tax policies; connecting and introducing the Association and its business representatives to participate in seminars with international economic organizations, and attending working sessions of the Prime Minister with outstanding Vietnamese small and medium-sized enterprises.
With these positive contributions, the Association, together with the provincial business community, annually contributes 45-55% of the local budget revenue; and helps create jobs for 65-85% of the local workforce. Alongside developing production and business, the Provincial Association has called upon and, together with its grassroots branches, has made positive contributions to social welfare...

Innovate, be creative, and maintain the momentum of the association movement.
Attending the celebration, Dr. To Hoai Nam - Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises - acknowledged the efforts of the Association and its member businesses over the past period; and, based on the planned orientations, the Association will focus on implementing the key tasks set out for the 2025-2030 period.

The five key tasks of the Nghe An Provincial Association of Small and Medium Enterprises are: Continuing to maintain the movement and innovate the activities of the Association and its branches towards professionalization, linked to the implementation of tasks by the two levels of government; effectively disseminating and promoting Resolution 68/NQ-TW of the Politburo on the development of the private economy; always prioritizing the improvement of the economic efficiency of enterprises, entrepreneurs, and the private economy; proactively developing plans and expanding the Association to reach 25,000 members by 2030; planning to encourage and promote the development of many exemplary enterprises and entrepreneurs within the Association who achieve high results in production, business, and international integration; strengthening support for enterprises in digital transformation, building a corporate culture and civilization, and continuing to improve business management capacity…
On behalf of the provincial leadership, Mr. Nguyen Nam Dinh, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, congratulated the Provincial Association of Small and Medium Enterprises on the achievements it has made over the past 20 years.

Based on information regarding the socio-economic results for 2025, the province's major policies, and especially the new Central Committee resolutions on private sector development, science and technology development, and digital transformation, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council suggested and guided the content and forms of activities for the Provincial Association of Small and Medium Enterprises to improve its effectiveness in the new conditions and circumstances.

For the period 2026-2030, the Central Government has set very high development targets for Nghe An, so the pressure and expectations on the business community are immense. To achieve these targets, Nghe An has prepared "5 readinesses" in attracting investment, and therefore hopes that businesses will share the burden and make greater contributions.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 collectives and 36 individuals; 3 collectives and 6 individuals with outstanding achievements received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
