Despite facing numerous challenges during implementation, particularly due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and differences in regulations and financial management mechanisms, the project participants coordinated closely and flexibly to overcome difficulties and ensure the progress and quality of operations. The project has made a significant contribution to supporting the development of the Import-Export Strategy to 2030, promoting public-private dialogue mechanisms, contributing to increased transparency and efficiency in trade policy development, and supporting business support organizations (BSOs) in enhancing their capacity to assist small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in accessing market information, meeting international standards, and expanding their businesses.

The results achieved during the project implementation have contributed to improving the trade policy environment, promoting exports, and enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnamese businesses in the context of a volatile international economy. The important lessons learned from the project will provide a crucial foundation for subsequent cooperation programs such as policy planning based on analytical tools and data, promoting effective public-private dialogue, and focusing on innovation and digital transformation.

The successful implementation of the SwissTrade Project marks a significant milestone in the cooperation between Vietnam and Switzerland in the field of trade. These achievements will be further developed and promoted to enhance national competitiveness and support Vietnamese businesses in expanding into international markets in the future.
