At the provincial Social Insurance office (Hong Gai ward), representatives from the provincial Social Insurance and Post Office emphasized the significance, role, and profound humanitarian nature of social insurance and health insurance policies under Law No. 41/2024/QH15 on Social Insurance and Law No. 51/2024/QH15 on Health Insurance. In particular, voluntary social insurance and family health insurance bring many practical benefits to the people, especially those in the informal sector. They also clearly explained the level of support from the state and local budgets for participating in these policies, as stipulated in Resolution No. 02/2022/NQ-HĐND of the Provincial People's Council.
The delegates also clarified the benefits of participating in voluntary social insurance, helping people receive pensions in old age, ensuring their livelihoods, and providing free health insurance cards throughout their pension period for healthcare. This contributes to changing perceptions and encouraging people to actively participate in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance; while also promoting the role of social insurance and post offices at all levels in propaganda work, striving to achieve the targets and plans for 2025.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, officials, staff, and youth union members of the Social Insurance and Post Office from the provincial to the grassroots level divided into mobile propaganda groups, fanning out to communes, wards, residential areas, and local markets. At each location, propagandists from both sectors directly advised and answered questions, helping people understand the long-term benefits of participating in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance, not only protecting themselves but also contributing to building a sustainable social security system.

The peak period for the awareness campaign will last from December 13th to 30th, 2025, with the goal of mobilizing over 10,000 people to participate in family health insurance, contributing to achieving the 2025 target. This is the 9th awareness campaign in 2025 jointly organized by the Provincial Social Insurance Agency and the Provincial Post Office.
According to statistics, by the end of November 2025, the entire province had 46,600 people participating in voluntary social insurance, an increase of 9,146 people compared to the same period in 2024 (accounting for 7.29% of the working-age labor force); the number of people participating in health insurance reached over 1.3 million, an increase of 21,000 people compared to the same period in 2024, with a health insurance coverage rate of over 95.75% of the province's population.
