Providing work equipment support for people's credit funds in flood-affected areas.

The Vietnam Cooperative Bank, Binh Dinh Branch, recently organized a ceremony to donate machinery and equipment to people's credit funds in eastern Dak Lak province, aiming to support these units in overcoming difficulties and stabilizing operations after the floods.

Speaking at the donation ceremony, Mr. Luong The Huy, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Cooperative Bank, Binh Dinh Branch, said that in recent times, the eastern region of Dak Lak has been continuously affected by natural disasters, causing serious damage to people and property, including many People's Credit Funds whose infrastructure and equipment serving their operations have been affected.

In response to this situation, the Vietnam Cooperative Bank, Binh Dinh Branch, proactively gathered information and promptly guided and supported the People's Credit Funds in overcoming difficulties and stabilizing operations; at the same time, it reported to the Vietnam Cooperative Bank for consideration of appropriate support options.

Accordingly, the Vietnam Cooperative Bank has provided a total of 5 computer sets to the People's Credit Funds, including: Hoa Tri People's Credit Fund (Phu Hoa 2 commune) received 2 computer sets; Hoa Thang People's Credit Fund (Phu Hoa 1 commune), Chi Thanh People's Credit Fund (Tuy An Bac commune) and Chau Thanh People's Credit Fund (Tuy Hoa ward) each received 1 computer set. The total value of the 5 computer sets is nearly 100 million VND, funded from the People's Credit Fund System Safety Assurance Fund.

“This donation of machinery and equipment aims to help the People's Credit Funds in eastern Dak Lak quickly restore working conditions and ensure safe and smooth credit operations. This demonstrates the spirit of mutual support and solidarity throughout the Vietnam Cooperative Bank system,” Mr. Luong The Huy added.

Representatives of the People's Credit Funds expressed their gratitude for the timely attention and support from the Vietnam Cooperative Bank, and pledged to use the donated equipment effectively, contributing to improving the quality of service for members and people in the area.
