Attending the award ceremony were Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; General Nguyen Trong Nghia, Head of the General Department of the Vietnam People's Army, Head of the Central Steering Committee on External Information Work for the 13th National Congress term; General Trinh Van Quyet, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son; Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung; and leaders of central ministries, departments, and agencies.

Representing Tuyen Quang province was Comrade Mai Duc Thong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of Tuyen Quang Newspaper and Radio and Television.
The National Award for External Information is an important annual event that honors collectives and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to external information work, helping to spread the image of Vietnam, its people, culture, and intellect to the world, and bringing the world closer to Vietnam.

This year, the Award continued to attract nearly 2,500 entries; many of the works were of high quality, demonstrating timeliness, creativity, and a strong impact on external information work, affirming the brand of a prestigious award with many unique and distinctive features.
Through the judging process of the Awards Council, the Organizing Committee awarded 88 prizes across 8 categories: Vietnamese newspapers/magazines; foreign-language newspapers/magazines; radio; television; books; photography; digital and multimedia products; and initiatives and products with valuable external information dissemination. Each category will have 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, and 5 Consolation Prizes. In addition, the Awards Council also proposed other awards for collectives and individuals who made positive contributions to the organization of the Awards and external information dissemination activities.

The work "The Sustainable Development Journey of Dong Van Karst Plateau" by the team of authors: Mai Duc Thong, Do Thi Thu Thuong, Ha Thi Mai Hoa, Nguyen Viet Bach, Dinh Phuong Thao, from Tuyen Quang Newspaper and Radio and Television unit, was awarded Second Prize in the Radio category.

2025 marks the 11th season of the National Award for External Information. The award continues to be innovative and creative, aligning with modern media trends and directly implementing the Politburo's Conclusion 57-KL/TW on improving the quality of external information work; while also contributing to the implementation of Resolution 59-NQ/TW on international integration in the new context. Furthermore, the award vividly reflects the development achievements and implementation results of the Party's 13th National Congress Resolution and looks forward to the 14th National Congress.
With its established reputation built over many seasons, the National Award for External Information continues to be an important source of motivation for journalists, media professionals, and cultural and artistic figures in their journey to promote the image of Vietnam to the world.
