"Winter Volunteer - Warm Spring" spreads love to the highlands of Quang Ngai.

During the harsh winter, when continuous cold winds made life even more difficult for students and people in mountainous areas, the PTSC Quang Ngai Youth Union, in coordination with the Youth Union of the Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee Office, organized the charitable program "Winter Volunteer - Warm Spring" in Son Tay commune (Quang Ngai province) and Kon Plong commune (formerly Kon Tum province). The program was implemented with a sense of responsibility, compassion, and a desire to bring the warmth of spring sooner to those in difficult circumstances.

From the early morning of December 9, 2025, the youth union members gathered, ready to embark on their journey of sharing love. The group traveled for over four hours, traversing winding mountain passes, many sections affected by landslides, and slippery roads. The challenges of the journey further fueled the pioneering spirit and enthusiasm of the youth, driven by the desire to provide timely and practical assistance to the children and people in the highlands.

The first destination of the program was Dak Ra Pan Kindergarten in Son Tay commune, home to 136 students, the majority of whom are children from ethnic minority communities. There, the delegation presented 136 gift packages containing warm jackets, blankets, and milk – simple yet practical items for daily life. Each gift was not only a form of material support but also a source of encouragement, wishing for a less harsh winter and a new year filled with hope.

Touched by this gesture, Ms. Thu Thao, Deputy Principal of Dak Ra Pan Kindergarten, expressed her gratitude to the delegation. She shared that the care and support from the organizations have helped alleviate the school's worries every winter, and have also motivated the teachers to work with peace of mind and better care for the underprivileged children.

Leaving the Dak Ra Pan school, the group continued their journey to Kon Plong commune to provide assistance to 30 disadvantaged households. Although the gifts were not of great monetary value, they embodied a spirit of sharing and compassion, demonstrating a desire to support the people in overcoming their difficulties.

This year's "Winter Volunteer - Warm Spring" program not only brought material gifts but also conveyed a message of community responsibility, solidarity, and compassion – values that PTSC Quang Ngai and the Youth Union of the Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee Office have always upheld and promoted. Through this activity, young union members gained practical experience and a deeper understanding of the lives of people in mountainous areas, thereby fostering a spirit of service and a willingness to contribute to the community.
