This is seen as an important step towards building a modern urban government, improving the quality of service to citizens, and reducing the burden of handling administrative procedures.

Attending the launch were representatives from the Hanoi City Public Administrative Service Center: Mr. Bui Duong - Director of Public Administrative Service Center No. 1 (Hanoi) and representatives from Public Administrative Service Center No. 6.
Representing Viet Hung ward were: Mr. Dinh Quang Luan - Member of the Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Council; Ms. Nguyen Thanh Thuy - Member of the Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee; along with representatives from the leadership of specialized departments and a large number of people conducting transactions at the "One-Stop" service center.
The launch event included activities such as: a ribbon-cutting ceremony to announce the model, an introduction to the device's features, a demonstration of the digital copy authentication process, and a hands-on experience for the public.

Officials from Viet Hung ward introduced the features of the smart kiosk supporting online public services to delegates at the launch event.
Speaking at the program, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Thuy, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Viet Hung Ward, emphasized that the implementation of the smart kiosk model is an essential requirement in the current context, as the demand for quick, convenient, and transparent access to public services is increasingly high among the people.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thanh Thuy, the model significantly shortens the processing time for administrative procedures related to authentication and other public services. Previously, people had to wait, submit paper documents, and were completely dependent on processing officers; now, with the smart kiosk, it only takes 3-5 minutes to scan documents, verify information using chip-embedded citizen identification cards or VNeID, use facial recognition, and create legally valid electronic copies. The system is capable of automatically recognizing, comparing data, and digitally signing, helping to reduce errors and shorten processing time.
"The kiosk model not only helps modernize administrative processes but also opens up a new approach to public services – one that is more proactive, flexible, and friendly to the people," emphasized the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Viet Hung Ward.

Delegates experience the benefits of the smart kiosk model.
Sharing his thoughts on the effectiveness and high applicability of the model, Mr. Bui Duong, Director of the No. 1 Public Administrative Service Center (Hanoi), said that Hanoi receives approximately 70,000 authentication applications each month, while the number of judicial officers at the ward and commune levels is limited. The application of the smart kiosk model is an optimal technological solution to reduce the workload at the facilities, limit congestion during peak hours, and ensure accuracy in the application processing process.
Comrade Bui Duong stated that the AI and OCR systems integrated into the kiosk allow for document validity verification, anomaly detection, print and handwriting recognition, and ensuring that digitally signed copies comply with legal regulations. The results are sent to citizens via email, QR code, or integrated into the iHanoi application, making storage and use in various procedures convenient.
"The introduction of kiosks will significantly boost the rate of genuine online applications, increase transparency in the process, and build trust with citizens in handling administrative procedures," Comrade Bui Duong affirmed.

Many citizens have directly interacted with the smart kiosk and highly appreciate the model.
During the launch event, many citizens directly interacted with the Kiosk and praised its user-friendly interface and clear, easy-to-use instructions. Self-service via the device eliminates waiting lines and minimizes direct contact, which is particularly relevant in the context of accelerating digital transformation and digitizing administrative procedures. The Kiosk also integrates features for searching documents via QR code and storing digital copies in the electronic document wallet on the iHanoi application, allowing citizens to easily reuse them when needed.
According to the leaders of Viet Hung ward, the smart kiosk model is an important test to assess the application of technology in resolving administrative procedures at the local level. The ward will continue to coordinate with the City's Public Administrative Service Center to monitor operational efficiency, receive feedback from citizens, and gradually improve the model, aiming to expand its use to more public service groups. The ward government expects the model to contribute to reducing the volume of in-person document authentication by 60-80%, saving time and social costs, and creating a modern and transparent working environment.
