Conference to review the collective and individual performance of the members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee in 2025.

In accordance with the regulations and guidelines of the Central Committee, on the morning of December 12th, the Standing Committee of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee held a conference to review, evaluate, and classify the performance of the collective and individual members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee in fulfilling their duties in 2025.

Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were delegates from the Central Party Committees; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and members of the Provincial Party Committee's Executive Committee.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Xuan Truong emphasized that the collective and individual self-criticism sessions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee members should adhere closely to the Central Committee's regulations and guidelines on certain aspects of self-criticism and annual performance evaluation and ranking of collectives and individuals within the political system.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested that, during the review process, each member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee should uphold the spirit of pioneering and exemplary conduct, demonstrate a high sense of responsibility, clearly identify strengths, weaknesses, and their causes, clearly define responsibilities according to the assigned tasks, fields, and localities, and propose directions and solutions to promote strengths and overcome shortcomings and weaknesses in the future. He also requested that the evaluation and assessment process be fair, objective, democratic, and without favoritism or avoidance. The results of the collective review will be used as the basis for individual reviews, and the results of individual reviews will be used to supplement and refine the collective review.

At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee reported on the review of leadership, direction, and implementation of tasks; the results achieved, limitations and shortcomings, the causes of limitations, and directions and measures to overcome them in the coming period.

Delegates attending the Conference

According to assessments, 2025 is of particular importance to Thai Nguyen province as it simultaneously implements many major tasks such as: carrying out the policy of administrative unit reorganization, merging Thai Nguyen and Bac Kan provinces; operating a two-tiered local government model; and successfully organizing the first Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. In the context of a slow global economic recovery, rising input costs, complex natural disasters and floods, and the demands of restructuring the administrative apparatus after the merger, the entire Party and government have demonstrated a high sense of responsibility, unity, proactiveness, and flexibility in implementing tasks. As a result, the province has basically overcome difficulties, seized opportunities, implemented comprehensive solutions, and achieved many important results in the fields of socio-economic development, national defense and security, and Party building and the political system.
Following the collective review, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee proceeded to conduct individual reviews of each member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee in accordance with regulations.
