Dinh Phuong Thanh wins the third gold medal for Vietnamese gymnastics.

On the afternoon of December 12th, gymnast Dinh Phuong Thanh brilliantly conquered the parallel bars event, bringing home another valuable gold medal for Vietnamese gymnastics. This is the third gold medal for Vietnamese gymnastics at the 33rd SEA Games.

As expected, Dinh Phuong Thanh proved to be unrivaled in the men's parallel bars final. He performed a near-perfect routine and scored 12.900 points.

Also in this afternoon's competition, athlete Dinh Phuong Thanh won the bronze medal in the horizontal bar event with a score of 13.133 points.

In karate, in the men's -67 kg Kumite final, Khuất Hải Nam defeated his Thai opponent, thereby winning the gold medal.

Meanwhile, in the women's taekwondo events (over 67 kg and under 73 kg), Bac Thi Khiem dominated her opponent from the Philippines, winning the 17th gold medal at the 33rd SEA Games for the Vietnamese sports delegation.

In canoeing, the pair of athletes Ma Thi Thuy and Nguyen Thi Huong won the gold medal in the women's 200m double sculls event.

Notably, in the pétanque event, the athletes performed exceptionally well, winning a double gold medal thanks to the efforts of Lý Ngọc Tài and Ngô Ron in the Men's Doubles event. Just a few minutes later, Nguyễn Thị Thi and Nguyễn Thị Thúy Kiều continued to win another gold medal in the women's doubles event for Vietnam.
