Attending the program were Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Cuong; Dr. Ly Thi Mai, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Costume Research Institute; Major General, Associate Professor-Dr. Nguyen Hong Son; Lieutenant Colonel, pilot Dang Dinh Kien, Deputy Head of Political Affairs of Air Force Regiment 935 - Division 370, along with former Con Dao prisoners, female political prisoners, youth union members and students.

Sharing his thoughts on his 24th published book, photographer Nguyen A said: “This book compiles many events about Vietnam on its journey into a new era, a Vietnam integrating into the global community. Through this photo book, I have recorded the story of the warm bond between the military and the people, the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers not afraid of difficulties in helping the people during times of hardship. The book compiles images I have taken over many years, especially the experience of more than a month during the A80 campaign in Hanoi , which has made this book very different from my previous two photo books, A50 and A70.”

The photo book " 80 Years - A Confident Vietnam" is approximately 200 pages long and divided into three parts, each offering a different emotion and spirit, inspiring new perspectives on a Vietnam that is warm, compassionate, and always united in its development in the new era.

Photographer Doan Hoai Trung, President of the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association, expressed: “What makes this book special is the intertwining of images of ‘everyday people’ and ‘people in service.’ Alongside the smiles, flags, and simple joys of the people are images of discipline and strength of the armed forces, of marching formations, and of the young generation in the military. All together, they tell a common story: Vietnam stands firm because of its united people, its succeeding younger generation, and its strong army striving for integration.”

In addition to the book launch and exchange event for " 80 Years - A Confident Vietnam," photographer Nguyen A also organized an exhibition of the same name, which took place at the Youth Cultural Center for three days, from December 13th to 15th.

On the occasion of the launch of his 80th anniversary photo book - A Confident Vietnam , photographer Nguyen A was also honored to set a Vietnamese record for: "The person who has been dedicated to the art of photography for 30 years with 24 published works, winning many important awards domestically and internationally."
