Nong Son High School was established according to Decision No. 1628 of the People's Committee of Quang Nam - Da Nang province (formerly). From a mountainous school with many shortcomings in facilities and a small teaching staff, the school has gradually affirmed its position and become a reputable educational institution in the western midland region of the city.
According to Mr. Nguyen Chi Thanh, Principal of Nong Son High School, the school currently has 21 classes with over 800 students; and a staff of 51 teachers and employees, of which 100% of teachers meet or exceed the required standards.
The quality of education is constantly improving; the high school graduation rate has consistently exceeded 98% for many years, reaching 100% in some years. The school has achieved many outstanding accomplishments in nurturing gifted students, participating in science and technology competitions, Olympiads, and other educational movements.
Speaking at the ceremony, Director of the City's Department of Education and Training, Le Thi Bich Thuan, affirmed that 40 years is an important milestone, marking the journey of building and developing Nong Son High School with great effort and pride.
From a school in a mountainous area facing many difficulties, the school has gradually affirmed its position in the city's education system, becoming a shining example of overcoming challenges, responsibility, and quality education.
At the ceremony, Nong Son High School was honored to receive a Certificate of Commendation from the Minister of Education and Training. Many groups and individuals were also commended by the Director of the City Department of Education and Training for their contributions to the school's development.
On this occasion, former students donated numerous scholarships and financial support for educational activities to the school.
