25 years of brilliant transformation from a "3 no" school

(NLDO)- Over the past 25 years, from a "3-no school", Tan Binh High School (HCMC) has transformed into a spacious, modern school with many outstanding achievements.

On the morning of November 15, Tan Binh High School (Tan Son Nhi Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) held a ceremony to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the school's founding and the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day. Many generations of teachers and students from different periods gathered together to recall memories under the school roof.

The school currently has more than 2,000 students and 121 staff, teachers and employees, of which more than 1/3 of the teachers have master's degrees.

The school continues to foster the tradition of "Good Teaching - Good Learning" to truly become a "Happy School", where students are loved, respected and developed comprehensively.

At the ceremony, many generations of teachers shared their pride when looking back on the journey of building a safe, disciplined but friendly school. Many teachers said that what makes Tan Binh High School's identity is the "firm hand" in discipline and sense of responsibility of the teaching staff. The school currently maintains many experiential education activities, life skills and development of students' qualities and abilities. Students are encouraged to participate in clubs, extracurricular activities, academic competitions and volunteer movements. The school's goal is to create a comprehensive learning space where students feel safe, respected and have the opportunity to develop themselves...

Established in 2000, Tan Binh High School started with many shortages, muddy roads, simple facilities, and a small teaching staff. In the first school year, the school welcomed 1,200 students with 22 classes, laying the foundation for a large-scale public educational institution in the Tan Phu - Tan Binh - Tan Son Nhi area.

From the early days, there were many shortages, there was no road to the school, the school yard had no shade, there was a lack of clean water, and the campus was still messy. Over the past 25 years, the school has constantly changed. From a "3-no school", Tan Binh High School is now spacious with 51 classrooms equipped with air conditioners and projectors; a system of laboratories, libraries, and multi-purpose gymnasiums; spacious boarding and canteen areas, and large LED screens for specialized activities.
