Scholarships accompany and support students throughout their university journey

On November 15, Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund organized the program 'Student Meeting and Scholarship Awarding' for the 2025-2026 school year.

The event aims to summarize the activities of the "Student Support" project, evaluate the learning results of the 2024-2025 school year, award scholarships, honor excellent students, and express gratitude to sponsors who have accompanied the journey to help ethnic minority and island students achieve their dreams.

According to Ms. Truong My Hoa, former Vice President, President of Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, the "Student Support" project is one of the in-depth investment projects of Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, established in October 2020. The project was born to continue the journey of students who received Vu A Dinh scholarships, helping them continue to be accompanied and supported with tuition fees throughout their university studies until graduation.

"After 6 years of implementation, the project has awarded scholarships to 493 students from 38 ethnic groups across the country. In the 2025-2026 school year, 47 students entered university and benefited from this project. This is not only material assistance, but also a great source of spiritual encouragement, demonstrating the community's compassion and sharing for students in difficult circumstances, living far from their families," said Ms. Truong My Hoa.

Sharing at the ceremony when receiving a scholarship of 12 million VND for the first school year 2025-2026, Nguyen Hoang Giang, a general medicine student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, said: "My father is an officer working at Brigade 101, Khanh Hoa province. In the school year 2022-2023, I received the Vu A Dinh scholarship and studied at Ngo Thoi Nhiem Secondary School (HCMC). This scholarship is like a timely hand to support me so that I can turn a new page, to access an extremely modern learning and living environment. Now, when entering university, I feel really lucky to continue to receive the Vu A Dinh scholarship. I promise to strive and try my best to study well to respond to the trust of those who have supported and helped me on the journey to conquer my dream".

As a person who has received Receiving the Vu A Dinh scholarship through the "Student Support" project, Thach Sang, who graduated with honors in software engineering from the University of Information Technology, Ho Chi Minh City, expressed: "I am extremely honored and happy to represent the students to express my deep gratitude to the sponsors. Surely the students sitting here today all share the same joy, honor, pride and maturity. For ethnic minority students and students from island areas, this scholarship is not only financial support, but also a great source of encouragement to help us feel more confident on our journey of studying, training and developing ourselves."
