Comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh, Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister attended the groundbreaking ceremony in Duc Nong commune. Comrade Tran Quang Phuong, Party Central Committee member, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly attended the groundbreaking ceremony in Mo Rai commune.

Pursuant to Conclusion No. 81-TB/TW of the Politburo dated July 18, 2025 and Resolution No. 298/NQ-CP of the Government dated September 26, 2025, on the policy of investing in building schools for border communes, the Government approved the policy of building 9 inter-level boarding schools in 9 border communes for Quang Ngai province.

In phase 1, Quang Ngai province received more than 612.7 billion VND from the Central Government to build 4 primary and secondary boarding schools in the mainland border communes including Duc Nong, Mo Rai, Ro Koi and Sa Loong.

Each school has a scale of 30 to 47 classrooms, meeting the learning needs of more than 1,000 students, with a system of boarding houses for students, public houses for teachers, libraries, physical areas, cafeterias and synchronous auxiliary works. The construction of the schools is scheduled to be completed before August 30, 2026.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh presented a statue of Uncle Ho to the primary and secondary boarding school for ethnic minorities in Duc Nong commune.

These projects not only solve the problem of infrastructure, but also contribute to ensuring equity in education, narrowing regional gaps, improving people's knowledge, training human resources for disadvantaged areas, and strengthening national defense and security in border areas.

Speaking at the ceremony, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh emphasized that the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of primary and secondary boarding schools in the border communes of Quang Ngai province is a meaningful event, demonstrating the sentiments and responsibilities of the Party and State for the cause of education and for people in remote, isolated and border areas of the Fatherland.

At the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh presented a statue of Uncle Ho to the Duc Nong primary and secondary boarding school for ethnic minorities and gave 1,600 warm coats to students.
