Cha Nhay village has 216 households and 843 people, of which 97% of the village's population are ethnic minorities, mainly the Trieng ethnic group.

In recent years, with the attention of the Party and the State, investment has been made in the construction of essential works serving people's lives such as: inter-village roads, electricity, domestic water, schools; national target programs on hunger eradication and poverty reduction have created favorable conditions for people in production, business and trade of goods, and development of industries.
In particular, since the implementation of the Campaign " All people unite to build new rural life and civilized urban areas" associated with the Campaign "Changing the thinking and working style of ethnic minorities, helping ethnic minorities to escape poverty sustainably" launched by all levels, along with the tradition of solidarity associated with the spirit of mutual love, mutual assistance and the efforts to improve themselves of each person in the village, up to now, the people's lives have had positive changes in all aspects.

Typically, the cadres and people in the village focus resources on promoting economic development such as: Gradually converting crops and livestock to suit local soil conditions and customs. Thereby, people's income is increased, life is improved. The whole village now has only 6 poor and near-poor households.

Speaking with the people of Cha Nhay village, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh expressed his joy at witnessing the appearance of Cha Nhay countryside in particular and Duc Nong border commune in general, becoming more spacious and majestic, with the material and spiritual life of the people increasingly improved.
“Over the years, the National Great Unity Day has become a traditional cultural feature of every rural area, contributing to connecting the community, uniting around the Front organization, and having more trust in the leadership of the Party and Government; joining hands to help and build the homeland to become more and more prosperous,” Comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh emphasized.

Comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh suggested that Cha Nhay village continue to promote the achievements of recent years, continue to focus on economic development so that the village will no longer have poor or near-poor households by 2026.
At the same time, the leaders of Quang Ngai province and Duc Nong commune focused on implementing national target programs and major campaigns to improve and enhance the lives of people in remote, isolated, and difficult border areas.

“Commune and village leaders need to listen to the people’s thoughts and aspirations; thereby promptly resolving the people’s legitimate opinions within their authority. Discover and honor advanced models to spread the spirit of overcoming difficulties in labor and production to replicate many examples of good people and good deeds,” Comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh requested.
Sharing feelings with the people, comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh hopes that the cadres and people of Cha Nhay village will strengthen solidarity in the village and hamlet, join hands to support economic development, and take care of each other.
At the same time, pay attention to taking care of the next generation to go to school, continue to participate in building the cultural life of the village to enrich the spiritual life, abandon backward customs, actively implement the Party's guidelines and policies and comply with the law.
