Conceded early but not in disarray
Uzbekistan football is the strongest in Asia. The senior generation of U.23 Uzbekistan is competing in the Panda Cup, is the current runner-up of the U.23 continental tournament, and has continuously achieved high rankings in this tournament over many tournaments. In the most recent U.23 Asian tournaments, U.23 Uzbekistan has always been the nemesis of U.23 Vietnam.

The team from Central Asia has both good technique and abundant physical strength. In addition, their players are both fast and have a good sense of organization and discipline. Therefore, causing surprise against the U.23 Uzbekistan team is always a difficult task for U.23 Vietnam. From that, we can see that the narrow 0-1 loss of U.23 Vietnam to U.23 Uzbekistan reflects the progress of Vietnamese players.
The U.23 Vietnam team was opened up by their opponents in the 4th minute. However, despite losing early, the U.23 Vietnam players were not disoriented. Our players remained calm, organized their formation, controlled the ball and coordinated according to their intentions and tactics, thereby creating finishing moves that threatened the opponent's goal.
Strong mind, flexible body
Vietnam U.23 strikers such as Dinh Bac, Minh Phuc, Van Thuan, Thanh Nhan and Ngoc My all had chances to shoot at Uzbekistan U.23's goal. Thanh Nhan missed the chance to equalize in the 89th minute when he failed to shoot the ball in the opponent's penalty area, without a guard, while Ngoc My headed the ball against the crossbar in the 90+3 minute.

The physical condition of the U.23 Vietnam players is not inferior to that of their opponents in Asia.

That shows that the mentality of the U.23 Vietnam players is now stronger and more stable. Previously, when facing the top strong teams in Asia, when being behind, especially when conceding an early goal, young Vietnamese football players were easily confused, disorganized, and then lost heavily. However, the match with U.23 Uzbekistan showed a completely different side of our young players today. The whole team's mettle has been raised, after success in many recent international tournaments, as well as after being trained regularly in the professional football environment of the V-League.
Not only that, the fact that U.23 Vietnam put strong pressure on U.23 Uzbekistan in the final minutes of the match, creating many scoring opportunities during this time, reflects that the physical strength of the Vietnamese players is now better than before. Don't forget that U.23 Uzbekistan is a Central Asian team, their players have better qualities than Southeast Asian players.
However, the U.23 Vietnam players were still able to accelerate against U.23 Uzbekistan at the end of the match, proving that our young players are very resilient. Vietnamese players are not too far behind the continental level teams in terms of physique and physical strength, and are not afraid to compete one-on-one and compete with their opponents. These are all important factors for U.23 Vietnam to aim for bigger tournaments in the near future.
In the near future, U.23 Vietnam still has an important match at the Panda Cup, against U.23 Korea on November 18. If they can promote their strengths and overcome their weaknesses in terms of technique, U.23 Vietnam can absolutely produce good results.
