Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Huong, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of An Phat Xanh Plastic Joint Stock Company, An Dong Industrial Park (Nam Sach Commune) said that the enterprise is employing about 1,900 workers, of which female workers account for nearly 40%, with an income of 9 - 11 million VND/person/month.
The company's collective labor agreement was signed in the second quarter with many favorable policies and terms, higher than the law for employees such as: main meals 29,000 VND/person, side meals 16,000 VND/person; pregnant employees from 7 months or more have their working hours reduced by 1 hour/day while still receiving full salary.
At TongWei Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd., An Duong Industrial Park, union officials proactively developed plans and proposed a 13th month salary for employees during the 2026 Lunar New Year. According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung, President of the company's Union, because the business owner is a foreigner, union officials proactively informed and shared about the significance of implementing the 13th month salary, Tet bonus... to encourage employees to be closely attached to the business.
Good quality collective labor agreements, bringing many benefits to workers, have had a positive impact on the labor market in Hai Phong .
According to statistics from the Hai Phong Employment Service Center (Department of Home Affairs), the number of people applying for unemployment benefits in the first 10 months of 2025 decreased by about 24% compared to the same period last year. Income and employment of workers in the city are relatively stable.

Hyundai Kefico Vietnam Co., Ltd., Dai An Industrial Park, Tu Minh Ward is a member of Hyundai Motor Group Korea, specializing in research and development of high-tech electronic products and controllers for motor vehicles and car engines. The company currently has more than 2,500 employees. Female workers account for about 50%, with an average income of about 15 million VND/person/month.
According to Ms. Do Phuong Nhung, Vice President of the Company's Trade Union, the trade union plays the role of a bridge between the enterprise and the employees, signing collective labor agreements with many contents that are beneficial to the employees. The trade union participates in building cultural and sports institutions to take good care of the health, material and spiritual life of the employees.
The company's union has just successfully organized the "Monsoon Festival" with many cultural and sports exchange activities (running, tug of war), cuisine, etc., thereby enhancing the connection and cultural exchange between Vietnam and Korea. Since its establishment, the company has not had any labor disputes or strikes. This is also the only FDI enterprise in the West Hai Phong area with a Party cell.
The Trade Union of Hyundai Kefico Vietnam Co., Ltd. proposed that the business owner give employees a 13th month salary bonus, pay overtime (300% of working days), special bonus (100% of monthly income)... in January 2026.

According to Mr. Hoang Van Cuong, Chairman of the Trang Due Industrial Park Trade Union Presidents Club, in 2025, most enterprises in the industrial park will maintain an average basic salary of 5.7 million VND/month, an increase of more than 200,000 VND compared to 2024.
The total income of direct production workers is approximately 9.8 million VND/person/month. Club members try to persuade business owners to maintain the 13th month salary bonus at 1 - 1.3 times the monthly income of workers, so that workers can feel secure in sticking with the business.
With the motto "All union members and workers have Tet, enjoy Tet", Hai Phong City Labor Federation has increased resource mobilization, built plans to organize "Tet Sum Vay" programs; given gifts, bus tickets, picked up and dropped off workers to celebrate Tet; organized "Union Year-end Dinner" on the occasion of Tet Binh Ngo 2026 and wished Tet to union members and workers at enterprises, industrial parks, export processing zones and enterprises and units with outstanding production and business results, many workers in difficult circumstances, low income, heavy, toxic, dangerous occupations... Thereby, affirming the core role of the trade union organization in caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.
