At km1369+421, the water level was about 0.25m above the rail track. At km1367+050, rocks and soil flooded down and blocked the rail gap. From 3:30 p.m., the railway industry temporarily stopped trains at both Nga Ba and Cam Thinh Dong stations to wait for the water to recede, then they will continue their journey.
Specifically, train SE6 departs from Saigon station and waits at Cam Thinh Dong station; train SE22 departs from Saigon station and waits at Ka Rom station; train SE21 departs from Da Nang station and waits at Nha Trang station.
Authorities worked to fix the problem in the rain, but the weather continued to be bad, and the risk of safety remained high. Passengers were given a place to wait and were provided with necessities.
