On the afternoon of November 16, information from Thua Thien Hue Road Management and Construction Joint Stock Company said that currently in the mountainous communes of the old A Luoi district, there is heavy rain, causing landslides on the slope of National Highway 49, at km 76+300 (in A Luoi 3 commune).
The unit forces are on duty at the scene and will handle the situation after the rain stops. At the traffic point, a large amount of landslide soil and trees were recorded, overflowing onto the road, causing traffic congestion.
Heavy rains also caused some roads in A Luoi 3 commune to be deeply flooded, with water flowing rapidly due to the steep terrain. Thua Thien Hue Road Management and Construction Joint Stock Company has deployed human resources and excavators to the scene to fix the situation of rocks spilling over the road surface, ensuring that there is no long-term traffic disruption on the roads.

According to the Hue City Civil Defense Command, from November 15 to 19, the cold air mass will intensify, causing widespread heavy rain, rough seas, and high waves.
On land, temperatures drop sharply, turning cold at night and in the morning. Heavy rains are likely to cause floods, flash floods, landslides and mudslides in mountainous areas and along rivers and streams in wards/communes such as A Luoi 1-5, Long Quang, Phong Quang, Nam Dong, Khe Tre, Phu Loc...
In addition, low-lying areas downstream of rivers throughout the city are at high risk of flooding, urban flooding and areas with poor drainage systems.
