Comrade Hoang Giang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and the working delegation inspected the landslide on the left bank of Suoi Thia embankment.

According to the report of Cau Thia Ward People's Committee, the circulation of storm No. 10 has caused damage to many constructions such as roads, dykes, embankments, bridges, and culverts in the area. In particular, many embankment sections on Thia Stream were broken by floods, sweeping away concrete structures. The damaged embankment changes the flow, directly affecting the production and lives of people on both banks and in the entire basin.

The stream eats deep into the internal road and rice field because the embankment was washed away by the flood.

Suoi Thia embankment was built in 2008. In Cau Thia ward alone, natural disasters have damaged 3 embankment sections with a total length of 520 meters. According to a survey by the ward People's Committee, the damaged areas are directly affecting 531 households with 2,320 people and threatening the safety of Na Loc suspension bridge because the landslide is only about 50 meters from the bridge abutment.
