The brave spirit of the police force was further spread when, during the stormy night, three police officers from Tay Son commune crossed the forest and traveled more than 45 km to bring So Thi Truc Xinh (Tan Hai village, Tay Son commune) to Son Hoa Medical Center for timely emergency care.

The provincial police have mobilized more than 16,700 officers and soldiers from various forces, along with more than 11,000 security and order protection forces at the grassroots level; thousands of specialized vehicles and equipment to support people in responding to and overcoming the consequences of storms and floods.

When the storm had just weakened, that same night, more than 30 officers and soldiers of the CC-CNCH teams in regions 8, 9 and 11 supported localities in clearing fallen trees, clearing many key traffic routes in the wards of Tuy Hoa, Xuan Dai, Song Cau and the communes of Xuan Canh, Xuan Loc and Xuan Tho. Lieutenant Colonel Phan Thanh Binh, Chief of Xuan Lanh Commune Police, said that from the night of November 6 to noon of November 7, the unit mobilized 20 officers and soldiers and 38 members of the security and order team, militia to coordinate with the CC-CNCH forces in the area to support the evacuation of 495 people from 125 households out of the danger zone, and at the same time cut down fallen trees on more than 15 km of road.

Not only on land, the Provincial Police force also participated in rescue operations in rough seas. Under the command of Colonel Tran Binh Hung, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, more than 500 officers and soldiers deployed to Tuy An Nam, Tuy An Tay, Tuy An Bac, Tuy An Dong and O Loan lagoon areas to coordinate in rescuing two crew members whose fishing boat had been sunk by waves and drifted out to sea in the middle of a stormy night.

Immediately after the storm, the Provincial Police continued to carry out a "dual task": both supporting people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and ensuring good security and order at the grassroots level.
