Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu worked in Lang Tron ward and Gia Rai ward

On the morning of November 11, the working delegation led by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu had a working session with the Party Committees of Lang Tron and Gia Rai wards. Joining the working delegation were Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Le Thanh Trieu; Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang.

Gia Rai Ward was established on the basis of merging Ward 1, Ho Phong Ward, Phong Thanh Commune and Phong Thanh A Commune. Gia Rai Ward Party Committee has 1,810 party members, operating in 54 affiliated party organizations.

Lang Tron Ward was established on the basis of merging Lang Tron Ward, Phong Tan Commune and Phong Thanh Dong Commune. Lang Tron Ward Party Committee has 39 affiliated Party organizations with 759 Party members.

After its establishment, the Party Committees of Gia Rai Ward and Lang Tron Ward have focused on comprehensively leading and directing the implementation and operation of the 2-level local government model in accordance with the policies and resolutions of the Party and the State; focusing on arranging the organizational apparatus, ensuring effective and efficient operations. Up to now, it has basically operated stably, meeting the requirements of performing tasks in the new situation.

Reporting at the working session, ward leaders informed: In recent times, the work of protecting and taking care of people's health has always been of interest and closely implemented by the Party Committee and People's Committee of the ward; the quality of medical examination and treatment has been gradually improved, basically meeting the needs of primary health care for the people; many effective production models have been deployed and replicated; solutions to combat illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing have been strengthened.

After the 1st Ward Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, the locality immediately organized the implementation of targets, tasks and solutions according to the Congress Resolution; built socio- economic development targets for 2026 for implementation.

At the meeting, representatives of ward leaders reported on a number of difficulties and problems in operating the two-level local government, as well as in organizing the activities of the ward health station, and completing the infrastructure of transportation, health, and education .

Thereby, the ward leaders have proposed that the province pay attention to and support new investments and upgrade some connecting traffic routes; pay attention to and implement well the regimes and policies for those who have quit their jobs; train the Community Digital Technology Team, contributing to the good implementation of digital transformation tasks, supporting the implementation of administrative procedures in the ward; unify the management model of commune and ward health stations in accordance with the actual situation; continue to pay attention to investing in facilities and equipment for teaching and learning, as well as medical examination and treatment... to create conditions for better care for the people's lives and production.

The members of the working group shared difficulties and requested the wards to proactively review, have programs, plans, and roadmaps for investment, maintenance, and upgrading of roads, schools, and medical stations; at the same time, record the opinions and recommendations of the wards to advise and propose to competent authorities to direct implementation, contributing to promoting socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security in the wards in the coming time.

At the working session, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang highly appreciated the achievements of Gia Rai Ward and Lang Tron Ward in all aspects of work in the past time, especially in the operation of the local government apparatus at 02 levels. Thereby, he requested the wards to pay attention to reviewing, arranging and assigning cadres according to the job position project; thoroughly handling the remaining work, not missing any tasks; quickly deploying and bringing the Resolution of the Party Congress at all levels into life; ensuring political security, social order and safety; proactively coordinating with departments and branches to remove difficulties and obstacles, carry out tasks in all fields and resolve recommendations according to regulations.

To better care for people's lives and production, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu requested the wards to focus on consolidating, perfecting, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the organizational apparatus; building programs and plans to implement the Politburo's key Resolutions; promoting the tradition of solidarity, upholding the sense of responsibility, mobilizing the participation of the entire political system in organizing and implementing tasks, especially in the tasks of digital transformation, perfecting traffic infrastructure, developing healthcare, education, etc.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu requested departments and branches to review opinions and recommendations of wards to have support solutions within their authority; in cases beyond their authority, report and propose to the Provincial People's Committee for direction and create conditions for wards to well perform assigned political tasks.
