Regarding the work of overcoming the consequences of the storm, strictly implementing the direction of the Ministry of National Defense , on November 7, units mobilized 11,439 officers and soldiers (4,221 soldiers, 7,218 militiamen) and 376 vehicles of all kinds to help people overcome the consequences.
Specifically, Military Region 5 mobilized 9,074 officers and soldiers along with 337 vehicles of all kinds to help people overcome the consequences in Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, and Dak Lak. Army Corps 34 mobilized 514 officers and soldiers and 22 vehicles of all kinds, organized the pouring of 42 m3 of concrete, and overcame the landslide of 100 m3 of soil and rock in Ngoc Linh commune (Quang Ngai province). In addition, officers and soldiers also supported people in reinforcing 106 houses and 1 school, clearing trees in 50 houses, and cleaning up 5 schools in Tuy Phuoc Dong, Tuy Phuoc Tay, Tuy Phuoc Bac, and Tuy Phuoc communes (Gia Lai province).
Military Region 7 mobilized 1,851 officers and soldiers and 17 vehicles of various types to help people overcome the consequences of storm No. 13 in the wards and communes of Binh Thuan, Ham Thang, Ka Do, Ham Lien, Song Luy, Phan Dung, Tuy Phong, Tuyen Quang, and Ham Thuan (Lam Dong province).
Regarding the work of overcoming the consequences of floods, also on November 7, units including Military Region 4, Military Region 5, Navy and Air Defense - Air Force mobilized 5,499 officers and soldiers and 100 vehicles of all kinds to help people overcome the consequences. As a result, 615 households/1,805 people were evacuated (Hue city); 30 schools were cleaned and repaired (Quang Tri: 2, Hue city: 28), 2 medical stations and 1 market (Hue city); 54.5 km of roads were cleaned (Hue city 49.5 km, Da Nang 5 km), 592 m3 of soil and rock were cleaned (Hue city 317 m3, Da Nang 275 m3)...
