After storm No. 13 Kalmaegi made landfall on the night of November 6, many fishing villages in the east of Gia Lai province were devastated and destroyed.

Coastal fishing boats stretching from Quy Nhon Dong ward to Phu My Dong had their roofs blown off or collapsed completely.

After just one night, fishermen in the eastern fishing village of Gia Lai province were left with almost nothing.

The children of the fishing village and the Gia Lai sea now have to worry about finding ways to overcome the consequences of super typhoon Kalmaegi.

In the coastal area of Phu My quarter (Song Cau ward, considered the "lobster capital" of the province), hundreds of boats were severely damaged by wind and waves.

Not only boats, but also the houses along the lagoon of local people were destroyed by the waves.

Mr. Truong Duy, a local resident whose two boats were destroyed, said that although he pulled the boats to shore and secured them carefully, he did not expect the wind to be so strong that it swept them all away in just one night.

Shrimp cages, the livelihood of people, were washed ashore by waves.

The lobster "capital" of Dak Lak seen from above is desolate and desolate.
