The Central Relief Mobilization Committee supports 30 billion VND for provinces affected by storm No. 13.

On November 7, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front decided to allocate 30 billion VND to support the three provinces of Quang Ngai, Gia Lai and Dak Lak (10 billion VND each) to help localities overcome the severe consequences caused by storm No. 13.

According to statistics, as of 5 p.m. the same day, the total amount of money registered by individuals, units and organizations to support through the accounts of the Central Relief Mobilization Committee reached 1,209.24 billion VND. This is a resource that demonstrates the spirit of mutual love and support of compatriots across the country towards areas affected by natural disasters.

Member of the Presidium, Head of the Social Work Department of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Cao Xuan Thao received support from the Trade Union of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam ( BIDV ).

Up to now, through 5 allocations, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee has supported a total of 538,182 billion VND (equivalent to 91.7% of the received funds) for 19 provinces and cities to overcome the consequences of storms No. 10, 11, 12 and floods. The localities receiving support include: Quang Tri, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang, Lang Son, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Lao Cai, Bac Ninh , Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Phu Tho, Son La, Hung Yen, Hai Phong, Gia Lai, Dak Lak and Dien Bien.

Funds were allocated promptly to help localities restore essential infrastructure, support people in reproducing and stabilizing their lives after natural disasters, and at the same time demonstrate the core role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in mobilizing and allocating relief resources nationwide.
