Quang Ninh established the World Heritage Management Board of Ha Long Bay - Yen Tu

On November 4, information from the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province said that it had just issued a decision on the establishment of the Ha Long Bay - Yen Tu World Heritage Management Board.

Accordingly, the Ha Long Bay - Yen Tu World Heritage Management Board is under the direct authority of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, based on the reorganization of the Ha Long Bay Management Board, the Bai Tu Long National Park Management Board under the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, and the Relics and Scenic Spots Management Board under the Quang Ninh Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The Ha Long Bay - Yen Tu World Heritage Management Board is responsible for advising the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee on the management, protection, conservation, scientific research, restoration, renovation, and promotion and exploitation of the natural landscape, cultural, historical, geological, geomorphological, and biodiversity values ​​of the heritage site.

Simultaneously, organize tourism and service activities in the Ha Long Bay World Natural Heritage site, the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son - Kiet Bac World Cultural Heritage site complex in Quang Ninh province (including the Yen Tu special historical and scenic site complex, the Tran Dynasty special historical site, and the Bach Dang special national historical site complex) and Bai Tu Long National Park - an ASEAN Heritage Park.

The Ha Long Bay - Yen Tu World Heritage Management Board has legal personality, its own seal and bank account, and operates in accordance with the law. The Board will be under the direction, management, and organization of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, and will also be subject to the direction, guidance, and professional supervision of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Vietnam National UNESCO Committee, and other relevant agencies.

The Ha Long Bay - Yen Tu World Heritage Management Board has a Chairman, a Vice-Chairman, and 10 specialized departments and equivalent units.
