Strengthening training and fostering of staff to meet task requirements in the new situation

At the working session, the leaders of Lai Chau Provincial Political School reported on the training and fostering of cadres and the implementation of Regulation No. 11-QD/TW of the Central Party Secretariat on Standard Political Schools.

The report stated that, for the training and fostering of cadres from 2020 to present, the Standing Committee of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee has sent 468 comrades for advanced political theory training; ensuring the ratio of 1/1.2 between the centralized system/non-centralized system according to regulations.

The Standing Committee of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee approved the plan and assigned the Provincial Political School to coordinate with Party committees, Party organizations, agencies and units to organize 35 intermediate political theory classes for 1,706 cadres, civil servants and public employees. The whole province sent 67,535 cadres to attend training and update their knowledge.

Training work ensures comprehensive basic expertise and skills, balanced and reasonable between sectors and fields, between quantity and quality, with focus and key points. Attention is paid to training to ensure standards for job titles and positions; focusing on areas lacking highly qualified cadres, civil servants and public employees, in the fields of engineering, technology, law, public administration, human resource management, economic development...; training to meet professional standards according to regulations for commune-level cadres and civil servants.

The coordination between Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee and Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics in training and fostering has been promoted. The Standing Committee of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee coordinated with Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Regional Political Academy I to send cadres to study advanced political theory at the centralized level, and opened non-centralized advanced political theory classes in the province. Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee coordinated with Regional Political Academy I to send cadres to participate in class leadership, and coordinated the organization of 7 non-centralized advanced political theory classes in the province in accordance with the program, regulations, and rules of the Academy; creating favorable conditions for lecturers and students to complete their tasks well...

Regarding the implementation of Regulation No. 11-QD/TW dated May 19, 2021 of the Secretariat on Standard Political Schools, the Standing Committee of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee has directed the dissemination and implementation of Regulation No. 11-QD/TW; established a Team to develop the Project "Lai Chau Provincial Political School meets standards". For Standard Level 1, up to now, Lai Chau Provincial Political School has achieved 50/55 criteria, equivalent to 90.9% of Standard Level 1. For Standard Level 2, Lai Chau Provincial Political School is actively implementing.

Speaking at the working session, Comrade Sung A Ho - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee emphasized that in recent times, Lai Chau province has paid great attention to training and fostering cadres and actively implemented the construction of a standard Political School according to Regulation No. 11-QD/TW.

He proposed that the Academy continue to pay attention, guide and support Lai Chau province in implementing the Project "Building Lai Chau Provincial Political School to meet level 1 standards in the period 2022 - 2026, with a vision to 2035"; strengthen coordination in training and fostering cadres to ensure flexibility and suitability to the characteristics of mountainous and border localities; coordinate to open Advanced Political Theory classes for the province; regularly coordinate to organize training classes, update new knowledge for leaders, managers and lecturers of the province...

Concluding the working session, Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Trung Y - Deputy Director of the Academy emphasized that in recent times, Lai Chau province has paid great attention to the training and fostering of cadres and is determined to build a standard Political School. The Deputy Director of the Academy suggested that Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee continue to directly lead and direct the promotion of training and fostering of cadres to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation, contributing to the successful implementation of local political tasks; well implement the development of training and fostering plans associated with planning, arrangement and use of cadres; determined to build Lai Chau Provincial Political School to reach Standard Level 1 by 2026 and actively strive for Standard Level 2 earlier than expected; pay attention to training and fostering to improve the qualifications, professional skills and scientific research for the teaching staff of the Provincial Political School; promote the implementation of scientific research tasks...
