Exploring the origins of the Lo Khe Village Ca Tru Club.

Lỗ Khê is known as the cradle of Vietnamese Ca Trù art, with a history of over 600 years of existence and development. The Ca Trù Club was established to preserve, protect, and promote the precious Ca Trù art heritage of our ancestors.

Lỗ Khê Ca Trù is distinguished by its traditional temple-style singing , preserving ancient and challenging Ca Trù works and melodies such as the "Thét Nhạc" (Music Shouting), "Hát Tỳ Bà" (Pipa Singing), "Cung Bắc" (Northern Palace), "Chúc Hổ" (Chuc Ho ), etc., along with ancient dances like the "Dương Hương" (Incense Offering Dance ). The teaching of Ca Trù to the younger generation has been maintained and carried out for many years. Outstanding artisans of the club directly participate in teaching classes on clapping, singing, and playing instruments from basic to advanced levels. The club is a gathering place for dedicated artisans, singers, and instrumentalists. Currently, several outstanding artisans in Lỗ Khê village continue to preserve and teach Ca Trù to the younger generation, playing a crucial role in keeping the flame of Ca Trù alive – an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
