Learn about the origin of the Lo Khe village ca tru club

Lo Khe is known as the cradle of Vietnamese Ca Tru art with a history of more than 600 years of existence and development. The Ca Tru Club was established to preserve, maintain and promote the precious Ca Tru art heritage of our ancestors.

Ca Tru Lo Khe stands out with its traditional communal house singing style , preserving ancient and difficult Ca Tru works and melodies such as the "thet nhac", "hat ty ba", "cung Bac", "Chuc ho" , etc., along with ancient dances such as " dance offering incense" . Teaching Ca Tru to the younger generation has been maintained and implemented for many years. The club's elite artisans directly participate in teaching classes on clapping, singing, and playing instruments from basic to advanced. The club is a gathering place for artisans, singers, and instrumentalists who are passionate about their profession. Currently, Lo Khe village still has a number of elite artisans who continue to preserve and teach Ca Tru to the younger generation, playing an extremely important role in keeping the fire of Ca Tru - an intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
