For the first time, the National Press Award for the Development of Vietnamese Culture will present the Vietnamese Inspiration Award and this year's award is given to Author Nguyen Hung, author of the song What's More Beautiful?

Nguyen Hung had a beautiful journey when the song What is more beautiful in the movie Red Rain , which he composed, became a musical phenomenon. On the occasion of National Day September 2, the song resounded on many stages and spaces, spreading the spirit of national pride, depicting memories of war and the desire for peace .

This year is also the first time that the Organizing Committee of the National Press Awards for the Development of Vietnamese Culture has added a special category called Vietnamese Inspiration , to honor the role of the press in creating and spreading good values, contributing to building an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity.

The award is seen as a symbol of the soft power of Vietnamese culture, a power that can touch hearts, arouse aspirations and spread the Vietnamese spirit in the new era.

What's better than not being the official soundtrack of Red Rain , but having a lyric video released that incorporates scenes from the film during promotion, creating special effects.

"I wrote What's More Beautiful Completely out of natural emotion. At that time, I just wanted to complete a song that everyone could listen to and feel. I didn't think the song would touch the heart so much," Nguyen Hung shared. The author confided: "At first, the song was about love. But when I played the role of Hai, I felt the need to write about a greater love, love for the Fatherland, about mothers waiting for their children to return from war."

The song spread strongly with the movie Red Rain. By early November, TikTok recorded nearly 290,000 videos, Youtube reached more than 50 million views, Spotify collected nearly 8.5 million listens. The song What's More Beautiful and Nguyen Hung's role as Hai in the movie not only touched the hearts of the audience but also contributed to arousing patriotism and national pride.

Before What's More Beautiful , Nguyen Hung was successful with the song Miracle , reaching more than 55 million views on YouTube.
