On November 4, the Deputy Director of the 108 Military Central Hospital, Major General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Hoang Ngoc was just promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General of the Vietnam People's Army by the President .

Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Hoang Ngoc was born in 1967 in Hanoi . In 1989, she graduated as a doctor from the Military Medical Academy.
During the period 2000 - 2001, she studied neurology in the French Republic, then successfully defended her doctoral thesis in medicine in 2003 at the Military Medical Academy and was awarded the title of associate professor in 2014.
Before holding the position of Deputy Director of the hospital, she was Director of the Stroke Center, 108 Military Central Hospital.
In 2022, she was promoted to the rank of Major General. Currently, Lieutenant General Nguyen Hoang Ngoc is Head of the Department of Internal Neurology - Institute of Clinical Medicine and Pharmacy Research 108, Standing Member of the Hospital's Scientific Council, Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Stroke Association and Vice President of the Hanoi Pain Control Association.
In the field of research and training, she has guided many PhD students, masters, interns and specialist II; participated as chair or member of nearly 100 thesis and dissertation evaluation boards at major medical training institutions such as the Military Medical Academy, Hanoi Medical University, Hue Medical University, and Hanoi University of Pharmacy.
In addition, she also participated in many selection and acceptance councils for state-level topics, the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Health.
