Vietnam National Shipping Lines and Da Nang Port share love with our fellow countrymen in the Central region

In recent days, the beloved Central region has been suffering from consecutive historic storms and floods, leaving behind many scenes of grief and loss. In such a difficult context, the spirit of “helping each other” and “loving others as yourself” has spread even more strongly, connecting kind hearts towards the people in the flooded areas.

VIMC supports people in Central Vietnam after floods

Joining the flow of love, on the morning of November 3, 2025, Vietnam National Shipping Lines (VIMC) and Da Nang Port Joint Stock Company were present in time, bringing meaningful gifts, sharing the burden with the people of Da Nang and Hue cities. Regardless of the road, the trucks loaded with love overcame difficulties to reach the people.

Representing Vietnam National Shipping Lines, Mr. Pham Van Hai - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor , Vice President of the Trade Union of Vietnam National Shipping Lines, together with Mr. Nguyen Tuan Hai - Head of the General Secretariat, on behalf of all VIMC staff and employees, presented a total of 1,550 billion VND.

VIMC donated a total of 1,550 billion VND to flood victims.

This is a donation from the golden hearts of tens of thousands of workers, demonstrating VIMC's deep concern for the community, especially in the most difficult times.

Da Nang Port joins hands to share with the people of Central Vietnam

Sharing the same beat of love, Da Nang Port - a solid support for the Central region's economy, is not out of the game. Mr. Tran Le Tuan - Member of the Party Committee of Vietnam National Shipping Lines, Party Secretary, General Director of Da Nang Port, and Mr. Le Tan Minh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Trade Union of Vietnam National Shipping Lines, Chairman of the Trade Union of Da Nang Port Joint Stock Company, represented Da Nang Port to donate 1 billion VND to the people of Da Nang city. This contribution is not just a number, but also a strong affirmation of social responsibility, of the flesh and blood attachment of Da Nang Port to the land and people here.

At the reception, Mr. Le Tri Thanh - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city (pictured above, sitting in the middle - right) and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, member of the Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue city (pictured below, in blue shirt, standing) expressed their deep gratitude for the golden heart of Vietnam National Shipping Lines and Da Nang Port.

These timely gifts will be a great source of encouragement, giving strength to people in flood-affected areas to firmly overcome difficult times and gradually stabilize their lives.

The image of tightly held hands and sincere words of encouragement between representatives of units and the Fatherland Front Committee have lit the fire of hope, warming wounded hearts. It is a vivid proof that no matter how devastating natural disasters are, the power of humanity and solidarity will always be the most effective medicine for the Central region to soon overcome storms and rise up stronger.
