On November 3, in Da Nang, a working delegation led by Mr. Tran Quang Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Group, together with Mr. Nguyen Manh Kha, Standing Vice Chairman of Petrovietnam Trade Union and representatives of professional departments, leaders of affiliated units in the Central region, visited the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Da Nang City to present the money to support overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.

At the reception, on behalf of the leaders and employees of Petrovietnam, Mr. Tran Quang Dung expressed his sympathy and shared the impacts of natural disasters on the people of Da Nang. He said that recently, the leaders and employees of the entire Group worked together on Saturday (November 2) to contribute to the Oil and Gas Mutual Aid Fund, supporting the people of the Central region. Petrovietnam's joint contribution is a deep sentiment and sharing to accompany the locality, aiming to care for, quickly overcome the consequences and stabilize the lives of the people.
Receiving the news of storm No. 13 about to hit the East Sea, Mr. Tran Quang Dung also expressed his concern for the lives of the people when they could not stabilize their lives after the flood, and had to continue to cope with the new storm. At the same time, there were the efforts of the Party Committee, the political system, and the local government to ensure care and remove difficulties for the people of Da Nang.
"I would like to send my regards and encouragement from the staff, workers and employees of the Group to the city leaders and people in the areas affected by natural disasters," Mr. Tran Quang Dung shared.

The floods at the end of October have had a severe impact on many provinces and cities in the Central region. In Da Nang City, the floods have left 12 people dead, 4 missing and 47 injured.
Not stopping there, the flood has collapsed 78 houses, of which 66 houses collapsed completely, mainly in mountainous communes, and destroyed thousands of hectares of crops, agricultural products and thousands of livestock of the people. Many key traffic routes were also severely damaged, cracked roads, landslides in many places also caused traffic disruption and isolated people. The total initial damage estimate in this heavy rain is more than 770 billion VND.

To promptly contribute to overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, Petrovietnam's support items with tons of food, essential food such as rice, drinking water... were quickly transported to Da Nang's receiving points to be sent to the people in difficulty. At the same time, on the evening of November 2, Petrovietnam's support team also met directly with people in areas heavily affected by floods to visit and support.

At the reception point of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City, the Petrovietnam delegation presented 5 billion VND to support the locality in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters. This is an activity within Petrovietnam's relief plan in the Central provinces affected by the floods at the end of October. Of which, Petrovietnam will present a total of nearly 20 billion VND along with necessities such as drinking water, rice... to the people of Quang Ngai, Da Nang, Hue and Quang Tri provinces.
On behalf of Da Nang City and the people, Mr. Le Tri Thanh - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city expressed his gratitude to Petrovietnam for not being afraid of the rain and wind, difficult weather to arrange and come to the locality to promptly support the people. This has shown that in addition to the feelings for the people, it is also ensuring the fulfillment of the responsibility of a large national corporation. The timely sharing and support of the Corporation also has a great meaning of encouragement for the people of Da Nang.

During the working program in Da Nang, the Petrovietnam delegation had a meeting and discussion with Mr. Le Ngoc Quang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee to share the difficulties and heavy losses that the city is facing after the historic flood at the end of October. At the meeting, Mr. Tran Quang Dung sent his regards and deep encouragement to the Party Committee, government and people of Da Nang, and shared that all cadres, party members and employees of the Group always follow and wish to join hands with the locality to overcome the difficult period.
Responding to the call of the Government and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Petrovietnam has implemented many social security programs to support localities affected by natural disasters and storms. During the floods that occurred at the end of October, Petrovietnam donated nearly 20 billion VND and dozens of tons of necessities to the central provinces and cities such as Quang Ngai, Da Nang, Thua Thien Hue and Quang Tri.
By the end of October 2025, Petrovietnam and its employees had contributed a total of VND 70 billion to support localities across the country severely affected by natural disasters. In the coming time, the Group plans to continue to spend an additional VND 30 billion on relief activities and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, bringing the total support budget in 2025 to VND 100 billion, clearly demonstrating Petrovietnam's social responsibility and spirit of "Full of affection" towards the community.
