Dong Nai receives 65 Vietnamese citizens returned by Cambodia

On November 4, the Hoa Lu International Border Guard Station (Dong Nai Provincial Border Guard Command) coordinated with the Immigration Management Department, the Provincial Police and a number of related units to receive 65 Vietnamese citizens returned by Cambodia.

Of the 65 citizens, 64 escaped from an online scam facility in Banteay Meanchey province and 1 citizen was arrested for illegally residing in Oddar Meanchey province.

Before being returned to Vietnam, these citizens were detained at the Detention Center under the General Department of Immigration, Ministry of Interior of Cambodia in Siem Reap province.

Vietnamese citizens were returned by Cambodia at Hoa Lu International Border Gate.

It is known that 65 Vietnamese citizens (aged from 16 to 40).

Hoa Lu International Border Gate Border Guard Station has coordinated with the police of provinces and cities to work with citizens and complete reception procedures according to regulations.
