(GLO)- On the afternoon of September 15, the Military Service Council (NVQS) of Pleiku ward (Gia Lai province) held a meeting to review the political and physical strength of 4,152 citizens of military age ready to join the army in 2026.

At the meeting, delegates listened to political review reports, performance review reports, and compared records of citizens eligible for military service.

At the same time, focus on discussing and voting on cases eligible for temporary deferment or exemption from military service in peacetime; citizens studying at high schools, colleges, and universities; cases of temporary deferment due to education below grade 8, not actually residing in the locality, or having political problems, violating the law, or being considered and handled by competent authorities...

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee Dang Toan Thang emphasized: The review of actual capacity and politics must be carried out seriously, in accordance with regulations, ensuring democracy, publicity, objectivity, fairness and accuracy.

At the same time, the Chairman of the Ward People's Committee requested members of the Ward Military Service Council and functional units to continue reviewing, supplementing, and completing records, creating a basis for the work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army in 2026 to achieve high results.
