The Thang Long- Hanoi Festival 2025 will be held in many different spaces, of which the Temple of Literature-Quoc Tu Giam relic site is the place with the most activities, with a series of activities: Displays, exhibitions, workshops, discussions...

Taking place in a culturally rich space, the Heritage Convergence program offers the public the opportunity to experience and explore traditional quintessence from many regions across the country. Among them, the most prominent impression is the activities of the craft villages.

This is an opportunity for craft villages of Hanoi, Ninh Binh , Hue and some provinces of the Central Highlands to introduce and promote typical products that have been preserved for many generations such as: Bat Trang pottery, Ha Thai lacquerware, Thuong Tin embroidery (Hanoi); Lotus leaf conical hats, Hue cakes, sedge handicrafts (Hue); Kim Son sedge, Bo Bat pottery, burnt rice (Ninh Binh); and typical products of the Central Highlands such as brocade weaving, coffee, Ngoc Linh ginseng.

Bringing products from Van Lam embroidery village (Ninh Binh province), where the traditional craft has existed for about 700 years, artisan Do Thi Ngan excitedly said: “Our locality has preserved the traditional craft for many years. Now the products are not only consumed domestically but also exported. My family also exports products to many countries. I am very honored and excited to participate in a big event like Thang Long-Hanoi Festival. This is a valuable opportunity for everyone to know about the sophisticated embroidery products of Van Lam homeland to the people of the capital and tourists."

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports Le Thi Anh Mai emphasized that the theme "Heritage Convergence" not only has the meaning of connecting the three ancient capitals: Hoa Lu-Thang Long-Hue, but also demonstrates the spirit of convergence and exchange of unique cultural values from all over the country. The program is an opportunity to honor traditional crafts and craft villages, and to show gratitude to artisans and skilled workers who have persistently preserved and promoted national cultural values in the modern flow. The program opens up a creative space, arouses the love of heritage among young people, promotes the spirit of innovation and spreads Vietnamese cultural values to the region and the world. At the same time, the event is a testament to Hanoi's commitment to preserving heritage alongside development, so that each traditional value is not only preserved in memory but also "lived" in contemporary life, closer, more attractive and spread more strongly.

In addition to the exhibition activities at the Thai Hoc House yard of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, the Heritage Convergence program also includes the following activities: The art program "On the Heritage Road" includes three nights of art performances at Van Lake space; Heritage experience space at Van Lake; Academic activities and international exchanges; Art exhibitions and displays...
